BEANS, ASPARAGUS YARD LONG (DOW GAUK)
Produces long, slender green pods which are sweet, tender and perfect for snap bean use. Great in stir-fry dishes. Best when pods are about 12 inches long, but remain stringless at greater lengths. This packet will plant approximately a 9 foot row.

PLANTING INSTRUCTIONS
Along a trellis, sow a seed every 3 inches when soil is warm. Soaking seeds overnight in water just before planting will speed germination. Thin to one plant every 6 inches when plants display 3-4 leaves. Frequent picking of young pods increases production.

Avoid working around beans when wet since this may spread diseases. When weeding, hoe gently because beans are shallow-rooted. Do not mulch plants until they have been thinned.
