A very neatly fashioned flower that resembles a daisy. Since it only grows to about 6 feet in length, it can also be grown in containers or window boxes. The orange-yellow flowers with a dark center add a colorful flavor to your flower garden. Blooms from early summer to early fall. If grown in container, can be moved inside before first frost.
For earlier bloom, start indoors in 3 inch peat pots 8 weeks before last frost. Cover with 1/4 inch soil. Or, after all danger of frost, sow in open ground well exposed. Cover lightly. When plants are 2 inches tall, thin or tranplant. Before transplanting, harden off seedling.
Excellent for temporary screens, hedges and ground covers. Support by a trellis, strings or wires or allow to cover unsightly tree stumps or rocks. Keep soil moist.
