Surely everyone has seen the trailer for “21 and Over” at this point, even if they haven’t actually seen the movie. If you’re one of those people who haven’t, here is a brief summary: young people drink a lot and get into some crazy shenanigans that are hilarious. If that sounds like the premise to last year’s “Project X,” another movie about young people drinking and partying, it’s because they are the same thing. Why do we need the same movie twice in two years? Because people love to have a good time. Should you totally trash a house and run away from the police? No, that’s a bad idea, which is why it makes for a fun movie experience. But something like a party bus rental or pub-crawl can give you a similar experience with the added benefit of safety. So, here are a couple of party ideas that will ensure a great time while helping you avoid having to run from the police, or being kidnapped, or whatever else happens in “The Hangover.”
Walk it off
If you live in a city, a good old fashioned pub-crawl is one of the best times you can have. With public transportation and a good pair of walking shoes at your disposal, you won’t have to worry about driving yourself around, leaving you to just enjoy a long day of partying with your closest friends. Keep an eye out for one another and you’ll have a problem free day.
Get on the Bus
A party bus rental isn’t just for episodes of “My Super Sweet Sixteen.” They’re great for adults because it provides a controlled environment to have a good time while traveling to various party destinations. Party buses are good for bachelor/bachelorette parties, trips to resorts or casinos (think Atlantic City) or travelling to sporting events. While you’ll have to be respectful of the bus, you’re guaranteed a safe ride to and from your party destinations.
While no one will probably want to make a movie or reality show out of your exploits, that’s definitely a good thing! After all, what makes for good TV doesn’t exactly make for good conversations with your boss the next day. But that doesn’t mean you have to stick to the same old stuff. There are plenty of ways to blow off steam, get away from it all for a while, and still be in one piece by the time Monday rolls around.
